Our Story
We didn't start BF Labs to add more information — there's enough of it already.
Hi, we're Neha and Jui.
​
Between the two of us, we have spent many years inside the beauty industry — one as a formulator and compliance expert, the other as a founder building a beauty tech startup in real time.
​
And between the two of us, we have many founder friends, and founder clients.​ Every time we spoke to them, we kept hearing the same thing. The same struggles. The same mistakes. The same "I wish I'd known that earlier."
​
One of us saw it from the inside — formulations, compliance, manufacturing decisions going wrong. The other was living it in real time, figuring things out the hard way.
We knew that t​​oo many strong ideas were getting derailed by:
